I found Ray Wade initially through a web search. Like you, I don’t live in the area, I live in Suffolk; the family home of my daughters then husband-to-b is in North Yorkshire which is where he chose to have the ceremony and reception. I checked to a number of other possibility but particularly liked Wade’s style and approach.
I could not be happier with our choice of caterer. Ray, himself, was a very personable and clearly committed to making sure we were happy with everything. We wanted a number of unusual things and he made sure that we had them. The quality (and quantity) of the food was excellent and the standard of his waiting staff was very high – not starchy but formal enough and attentive. Mrs Wade took care of the bar and was equally superb.
The whole package was very good value, too! Ray was also very helpful in aiding us to source other requirements and facilities and it is clear that he enjoys great respect in the locality.
I would recommend Ray Wade without reservation and will use his services again if I have need.
